Honey & Olive Oil Hair Treatment!

With winter in full swing, the wind and cold elements could really be putting a damper in your locks. Many woman are like me and spend a good deal of time in the salons or just on your hair period. Over time all the chemicals and outside elements tend to make your hair dull and lifeless, regardless of what you seem to do. After trying countless conditioners, products and home remedies, I found this amazing recipe online and you wouldn't believe how amazing it left my hair!

Honey has some amazing natural extracts that will go deep into the follicles of your hair to ensure for deep conditioning as well as pulling off and of the harsh stuff that may be damaging your hair. Olive oil is amazing for bringing your hair rich moisture and tons of body. So let's get to the recipe, its so simple.

1 TBSP honey

3 TBSP extra virgin olive oil

1 microwave safe container.

If you have longer hair you may want to double the ingredients and heat a tad bit longer just to ensure you have enough of the mixture. The next step is to mix the ingredients into your container and heating it up in the microwave for about 30-40 seconds. Remove from the microwave and let cool for around a minute or so. 

The next step seems crazy, but I swear its worth putting food in your hair to get these results. Slowly comb the mixture through your hair until covered. You can even go as far as to massage some olive oil into your roots as well as the tips of your hair. Lastly, take a warm, damp towel and wrap it around your hair after you have applied to mixture. Let sit for about the hour than wash, dry & style your hair like usual.
